Chakor indian restaurant

"Awesome" is how I found it. These guys know the art of personalising the dishes based upon your taste buds. That is the sole reason why Australians and Indians equally like the food served here. Visited with my family and found these guys friendly and entertaining. Space is not huge, but can comfortably accommodate 20/24 people (to me this is good as they can pay you the right attention).
I tried paneer tikka, tandoori chicken, barra kebab (will highly recommend this one) dal makhani, bhuna gosht etc. etc. and one thing was common to all the meat items- well marinated, tender and spiced just about right. I have literally stopped eating at Indian restaurants here because of the quality of food served (I don't have time to drive all over to Footscray, and Croydon has pathetic Indian restaurants), but this one came as a pleasant surprise to me (a friend of mine recommended this one to me).
I have never actually written a review but doing this one as these guys deserve it, and so do all the other people who are desperately trying to find a good Indian restaurant.
Chakor is the place to be!
